Design
The obverse shows a mother tenderly kissing her young child above a rising sun on a deeply recessed field. The simple legend across reads:
“DAWN”
The reverse depicts a woman and her grown daughter kneeling together over a bowl above a setting sun. The legend reads:
“DUSK”
Struck by the Medallic Art Company of Danbury, Connecticut, the medal measures approximately 73 mm in diameter and features a smooth golden bronze finish with rich dark brown patina. This example comes with its original box.
