Design
The obverse depicts the landing of the Pilgrims at Plymouth Rock, with the Mayflower at anchor in the background. The powerful inscription reads:
“THEY FOUND FREEDOM TO WORSHIP GOD”

The reverse shows Revolutionary War patriots armed with sword and muskets, standing before a church and stockade. The legend declares:
“ARMED IN THE HOLY CAUSE OF LIBERTY”
Struck by the renowned Medallic Art Company of New York, the medal measures approximately 73 mm in diameter and features a rich red-gold bronze finish with tan patina. This example comes with its original box.
