Description

A historic 1914 Republic of China silver dollar featuring Yuan Shih-Kai (袁世凱), one of the most important political figures of early modern China. Known among collectors as the "Fat Man Dollar," this coin was issued after the fall of the Qing Dynasty as the new Republic of China established a standardized national currency.

The obverse features the portrait of Yuan Shih-Kai with the inscription "Republic of China Year 3", while the reverse displays the denomination One Yuan (壹圓) surrounded by a wreath design.
