A genuine Japan Ansei 1 Bu (Ichibu Gin) struck during the late Tokugawa Shogunate between 1859 and 1868. This rectangular silver coin is cataloged as JNDA 09-52 and represents one of Japan's iconic pre-Meiji silver issues. It contains 87.3% silver.
